Here’s a summation of what’s going on.

The redesign is still going. Various sections of the work’s website are being replaced with the new design. PTB have come over to my side on thinking Impact font > Arial for the header. Good times. The front page design is at a point that I actually like it so hopefully it gets approved and I can move on.

School has started up again and I’m still venturing outside of my programmer shell to do art classes. This semester is “Typography” which I am really enjoying now. I figured that I would. We’re using A Typographic Workbook: A Primer to History, Techniques, and Artistry along with a book on Illustrator CS. Hopefully this will help me understand why some designs are stronger than others and when to use what font.

Also a distraction since November…. World of Warcraft went retail and there was much rejoicing. It is much of the fun.

The office fish, Thursday, is not feeling well, but I’m trying my best to get him back to good fish form.
