			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.cra.org/CRN/articles/may05/vegso">Survey results</a> from the Higher Education Research Institute at the University of California at Los Angeles (HERI/UCLA) show that the popularity of computer science (CS) as a major among incoming freshmen has dropped 60 percent from the fall of 2000 and 2004. The popularity of CS as a major among female undergraduates dropped 80 percent in the last seven years, and 93 percent since its all-time high in 1982.</p>
<p>Whatever we&#8217;re taking, <a href="http://www.gseis.ucla.edu/heri/darcu_pr.html">we&#8217;re</a> taking longer to graduate.</p>

Don&#8217;t go thinking that I&#8217;m abandoning Google! I still think Google&#8217;s results are superior, but Clusty&#8217;s clustering thing is the bomb diggity.]]></description>
